Texarkana is a town in the Ark - La - Tex region in southeast Texas, bordering Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. South of Louisiana is the city of Baton Rouge, the capital of the state of Arkansas and home to the Arkansas State Capitol.
