This year the total population of the city is 101,198, and the population of the city is 101-198. It includes the city of Texarkana, Arkansas, and borders the cities of Little Rock, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Austin and Austin, Texas.
The population of Texarkana is 52,179, with 30,497 people living on the Texas side and 5,077 on the California side. It is the second largest city in the state of Arkansas, after Little Rock, Arkansas and the third largest in Texas.
The Northeast Texas economy continues to grow at a steady pace, with a greater emphasis on industry. The industrial base is diverse, and residents have benefited from the expanding restaurants, hotels, retail stores, restaurants and other businesses. In the late 1850s, the builders of the Cairo and Fulton Railroad steadily moved their route from Arkansas to Arkansas. By 1925, both sides of the city employed more than 1,000 people, many of whom worked for a railroad to process agricultural products. During the Great Depression of the early 1930s, the number of companies fell from 840 in 1931 to 696 in 1936. The city's economic fortunes recovered, fueled in part by the construction of a new railroad line and the opening of an industrial park on the Texas side.
The road on the south bank of the Red River was completed in 1855, just a few kilometers from the city of Texarkana and not far from where two roads would meet. In 1856, the dividing line between the two states was established in the form of a two-mile strip of land between Texas and Arkansas.
Texarkana is located on the southern bank of the Red River, south of Fort Worth, Texas, and is the second largest city in the state of Texas with over 1,500,000 inhabitants. It is also home to Texas A & M University and the University of North Texas. The city itself is named after the city's founder, Dr. John T. Texarkson, the first mayor of Houston, Texas, and has an extensive transportation network that includes a major highway, railroad, two major railroads, a highway and a number of other public and private transportation systems. Besides the twin cities of neighboring Texarkana, Arkansas, it is the only major city with its own airport and airport terminal.
